Roof Lichen Bleach

Another way of removing lichens from the roof is through using chlorine bleach.

Get a scrubbing brush and water to gently brush the lichen off. I used a pump sprayer and applied a heavy mist to the roof two times about an hour apart. 8 spray the cleaning solution onto the shingles using a garden sprayer. Commercial chemical preparations though costly have proven effective. Rinse with clear water. 6 to kill existing moss and lichen make a cleaning solution of equal parts bleach and water.
